This page explains how to check availability; it is not a region-by-region availability list. The number of covered locations does not indicate how many streaming platforms are supported.

Streaming access: what to check

Streaming platforms may use exit IP, account region, payment region, device details, and content licensing to determine availability. In everyday use, “access” usually means that after connecting to a route, the platform lets you browse or play content for a particular region. It is not an extra membership benefit, does not replace a platform subscription, and does not automatically give your account access to every regional catalog.

Keep the different outcomes separate when troubleshooting: opening the site, signing in, seeing a title in search results, and playing it continuously each indicate a different step is working. If a title appears but will not play, licensing or account requirements may be the issue. If it plays at low quality, check video settings, device support, and sustained connection performance.

VPNSit offers 120+ countries and 180+ routes. This describes route coverage; it does not mean Netflix or other platforms will play in every covered region. Platforms may change how they identify exit IPs, apply regional policies, or license content. Even if a route works during one test, rely on actual playback at the time of use. Check that the relevant activity is permitted by local law and the platform’s terms of service.

A useful test record includes the platform, title, route, account region, and exact error message. “It works” or “it doesn’t” is usually not enough to identify where the problem occurs.

Platform × region: availability checklist

The available service information does not include verified results for each platform and region, so no specific region is marked as supported in the table below. “Verify after connecting” means there is no current evidence either way, not that access is definitely unavailable. Suggested routes are selection guidance, not a promise that a specific route will work.

Streaming region availability checklist
PlatformRegions to checkAvailabilitySuggested route & what to verify
NetflixRegions supported for the account and target catalogVerify after connectingChoose a route in the panel that matches the target region, then check whether the title plays
Disney+Regions where the service is available and the account is eligibleVerify after connectingConfirm service availability in the region first, then test a route and play content in the app
HBO MaxRegions supported by the locally available serviceVerify after connectingFirst check that the local brand, app, and account match
HuluRegions permitted by the account and platform termsVerify after connectingCheck location requirements; changing exit IP does not replace account or household location verification
YouTube PremiumRegions covered by the membership and current access regionVerify after connectingCheck membership eligibility and video licensing; ordinary playback alone does not verify membership benefits
Prime VideoAccount market and title licensing regionVerify after connectingKeep the route region consistent; distinguish included titles from rentals and paid content
BBC iPlayerUK service availability and platform eligibility requirementsVerify after connectingCheck whether the panel offers a route for that region only if you meet the platform's eligibility requirements

Start with the platform’s own help information when checking regional availability; don’t infer it from a route name. Region-specific apps, catalogs available while traveling, and household location restrictions can all affect playback, even when your exit IP appears to be in the target region. Services such as HBO Max may change their names and operating regions, so use the official local site as your reference.

For a useful comparison, keep the account, device, and title the same and change only the route. Avoid switching regions repeatedly during playback: the platform may retain its earlier region assessment, leaving old and new session states out of sync. After changing exit IPs, end the existing playback session and reopen the app using the platform’s official instructions.

The difference between native IPs and residential IPs

“Native IP” can mean different things in different service descriptions. It commonly refers to an IP address whose registered location, geolocation, and actual exit region align. It does not automatically mean a residential connection or guarantee acceptance by a streaming platform. IP databases can disagree, and platforms may use their own detection data, so results from a single lookup site are only a guide.

“Residential IP” usually refers to an address from a residential broadband network or related address pool; it describes the network’s origin. It is not mutually exclusive with a native IP, nor is it a video-quality tier. Even an address classified as residential may be affected by shared use, its history, platform rules, and account requirements.

IEPL, transit, and direct routes describe how a connection is routed; native and residential describe the exit IP’s attributes. These terms are not interchangeable. “Dedicated line” does not prove that an exit IP is residential, and “residential” does not guarantee smooth playback at peak times. VPNSit’s available service information does not list IP attributes for individual routes, so this page does not certify any specific route as native or residential. Check the details in the user panel or contact support by ticket if needed.

4K & Dolby Vision: sustained bandwidth and device requirements

HD streaming requires sustained connection capacity, not just a high speed-test peak. Source encoding, scene complexity, platform compression, and player buffering all affect actual requirements. Without a specific platform, title, and encoding, a single bandwidth threshold would be unreliable. Check the target platform’s official requirements for the desired quality, then test playback on your own device.

Dolby Vision is a high dynamic range video format; it is not simply a higher bandwidth tier than standard HD. Your account must be eligible and the title must offer the format. The player, device decoding, display, and any external display connection must also support it. A high-resolution screen does not necessarily support Dolby Vision, and browsers and native apps may offer different playback formats.

Check your account and title first

Make sure your membership tier includes the desired quality and the title listing offers the format. The same title may have different licensing and quality options across regions and versions.

Then check your device and app

Use an app or browser supported by the platform, and check system, decoding, and display output compatibility. For an external display, also verify compatibility between connected devices and content protection.

Finally, observe playback

Watch for buffering, quality changes, and audio-video issues during sustained playback. If lowering the quality noticeably helps, check your local Wi-Fi and route performance next.

If playback will not start even at low quality, check regional detection, account eligibility, and app errors before upgrading to a higher-data plan. Plan data is the amount of data you can transfer; it does not correspond to a particular video quality or guarantee speed or playback quality.

Common errors and troubleshooting steps

Error codes vary by platform, device, and app version, and similar messages may have different causes. Keep the full on-screen message and code, then search for the exact wording in the platform’s official help center. Don’t apply instructions for another platform. The categories below describe what a message may mean; they do not assume that a particular code indicates a route issue.

Message says a proxy or VPN is in use

This usually means the platform does not accept the current exit IP or connection characteristics; it does not mean the account itself is invalid. End playback, make sure the client is connected to the intended route, then try another route in the panel for the same region. If the message persists, note the platform, route, and full error and submit a support ticket. Whether the platform accepts that exit IP can only be confirmed at the time of testing.

Message says the region is unavailable, or the title does not appear in search

First distinguish whether the service as a whole is unavailable or a particular title is not licensed. Check the account region, title licensing, and current exit region for consistency. A title missing from search is not necessarily a network problem; catalog differences, age settings, or platform updates may be responsible. A working platform homepage alone does not confirm successful regional detection.

Message says the network connection failed, or playback keeps loading

First check whether regular websites load, then check the client connection and whether your subscription is active. If only streaming is affected, reopen the app and check the platform’s service status. If multiple services are affected, test your local network and other routes separately. Business, campus, and hotel networks may have additional connection requirements; follow the network administrator’s rules.

Message says the playback device, content protection, or format is unsupported

For these messages, check device and app compatibility first. Update the official app, check the external display connection, and, if needed, play the same title on another supported device. Don’t install certificates or profiles from untrusted sources, or disable system security protections just to troubleshoot playback.

Message mentions the account, household location, or simultaneous playback limit

Check membership status, household location, and playback sessions against the platform’s account guidance. VPNSit’s unlimited-device policy applies to this service; it does not mean a streaming membership allows playback on any number of devices at once. Each service has its own account rules, and a network route cannot replace platform benefits.

For help, submit a question through a support ticket in the user panel. Include the platform, title, device, route name, what happened, and the full error message. Before sharing a screenshot, hide sensitive account information. Never share your password, subscription link, or sensitive payment details publicly.

Choose data and routes for your viewing habits

Video data use varies with quality, encoding, content, and viewing time, so a plan cannot be translated into a fixed number of viewing hours. Start by watching on your usual device at your usual quality, then use the data changes shown in the panel to estimate your needs. Background downloads, other devices, and app updates also use data, so minimize these activities when comparing.

Monthly plans: ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on the activation date; mid-cycle upgrades are prorated by the remaining days. Data add-ons: ¥158 for 300GB, ¥358 for 1000GB, and ¥658 for 3000GB; they last until used and never expire. If you watch regularly, compare monthly plans against your actual monthly use. For occasional viewing, consider how data add-ons work. Choose a tier based on usage, not catalog size.

When choosing a route, first check whether its region meets the platform’s requirements, then see whether playback remains smooth. Don’t decide based only on labels such as IEPL, transit, or direct; local network conditions, exit IP detection, and peak-time routing all matter. Once you find a suitable route, keeping the region and device consistent makes later changes easier to diagnose.

VPNSit supports Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux, with unlimited devices and bank-grade encryption. No email address is required; set up your account with a username and password. Payment methods: Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. A 7-day money-back guarantee is available. Get the client and subscription through the user panel. These service terms do not replace the streaming platforms’ own subscription and playback rules.

Next, read Nodes and routes for route selection guidance, then compare monthly plans and data add-ons on the Plans and pricing page. The available catalog, acceptance of an exit IP, and final video quality depend on actual playback on the target platform.
